The Neighborhood:
Relaxed - the whole Matapouri community is a summer playground, with kids jumping off the bridge into the river. Stalls at the Matapouri hall, walks on grass verges to avoid hot summer road, from the ice-cream parlour back to the beach - or for delicious wood fired pizza on offer in summer season back to the bach.
